With this award, the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Emsland district honors our achievements and efforts with regard to carrying out transports and driving services in a climate-conscious manner. The installation of resource-saving technologies in the renovation of buildings and facilities was also rated positively.
Climate-conscious action is an integral part of Lanfer's corporate philosophy and our healthy growth strategy. For us, our daily work means, among other things, taking responsibility for nature and the environment. These principles for sustainability are laid down in our corporate goals and quality management system and are lived at Lanfer on every working day.
Of course our current achievements in terms of climate protection and energy efficiency include first and foremost our focus on developing sustainable intermodal concepts for our customers in order to move more goods by rail in a sensible, economical and climate-friendly way. In addition, we added the first gas powered trucks with ADR equipment to our fleet last year in order to strengthen "green transports". We have also been able to sustainably reduce gas consumption in our cleaning station through effective heat recovery systems. In addition, our employees are gradually being equipped with electric vehicles and the company parking lots with appropriate charging devices.
In the future, we will continue to work on increasing our energy efficiency by new innovative technologies and sensitize our employees in the responsible use of energy.
